This is one of the most delicious coffee we cupped and contracted this year. We bought lot 3 from this washing station. The tasting profile is really open, with great fruity notes like lemon and apricot. Overall very structured profile with a tea like aftertaste.
West Arsi has always fascinated me with its diverse profiles. Bordering Bale Mountain National Park’s Harenna Forest, an area that just recently started to see a lot of investment from producers, you can now find micro-stations processing wild forest coffee in the most remote areas hardly accessible by car.
West Arsi is only a recently upcoming coffee region but this does not mean that the quality is lower, on the contrary, the quality is very high!
